Alameda Holiday Boutique FAQs
  • What is the fee for registering for a vendor space at the Alameda Holiday Boutique?
In 2022 the fees for 6ft tables (total footprint 6ft x 6ft) was $75 and included the table. The fee for the 8ft tables (total footprint 8ft x 6ft) was $95 and included the table.

We also offered 6ft x 6ft spaces only (no table) for $75 and 8ft x 6ft spaces only (no table) for $95. 

We have a very limited number of "premium" 8ft by 8ft spaces (table not included) in the main ballroom. These are first come first serve. 

ALL FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN 2023. 

PLEASE NOTE: We will be making changes to the arrangements of tables/aisles in both the Trident and main ballroom to improve the flow of traffic and vendor exposure to shoppers. 

  • Can I bring my own display racks ​​Items that are packaged Yes, as long as you do not block the aisles or impinge on the spaces of the vendors adjacent or behind you.                                      
  • Is electricity available?
 ​There are a limited number of spaces along walls with electricity available. Vendors should bring an extension cord with a maximum length of 10ft.

  • ​​Is the facility secure overnight?
​​The Albert H. DeWitt (O' Club) is locked up within one hour after the event closes each day. The facility is unlocked each show day at 8:30am. ​

  • Is Wi-fi available?
 ​The facility's wi-fi was not designed to serve several hundred devices at the same time. Vendors should expect to need to rely upon cellular data (i.e 5G or LTE) to send/receive phone calls and carry out payment transactions using PayPal, Square, ApplePay and other online payment platforms.

  • ​Are food/refreshments available?
​​Yes!  The Girl Scouts will be selling coffee/tea and baked goods in the Main Ballroom More substantial food items (sandwiches, salads, wraps) as well as refreshments will be sold by M&J Catering. They will be located in the Main Ballroom.The Alameda Meals on Wheels program normally sells Mimosas and champagne by the glass as a fundraiser. They can be found in the Main Ballroom.

  • In case of an emergency how do I reach an AHB coordinator?
​We have volunteers (in brightly colored vests...you can't miss them) who can track down the coordinator-on-the-floor immediately for you. If you are experiencing a serious health or safety problem, dial 911 on your phone.

  • Can I sell items made by a family member? 
​If the vendor has no role in making the item other than to transport or display it for sale...NO. ​

  • I make edible gifts (olive oils, pasta, cookies, cakes, etc.)  Can I sell these at the Alameda Holiday Boutique?
​​Items that are packaged for consumption at a later date (home, office, etc.) are okay. Hot or fresh foods that are designed for consumption at the AHB require a permit through the City of Alameda and are subject to County licensing requirements.

  • Where do I park?
There is free on-street parking on both sides of West Red Line Avenue. The best parking (its FREE!) is in the large lot just across the street. We will have a designated space directly in front of the O' Club for unloading and loading up on both Saturday and Sunday.  Please do not park in this space and transport your merchandise and display into the building. We will have volunteers (in bright orange vests) who will help you unload and stay with your stuff while you park your car. ​

  • I make scented candles and essential oil incense sticks. Can I burn these during the event?
​The City of Alameda Fire Dept. does not permit the lighting or burning of anything in the show. Smokers must be outside, at least 20 feet from the entrance. ​

  • ​​I completed the online registration and submitted my digital photos. Am I "in?"
​No.​ Your information and images are subject to review by the AHB coordinators. In June, when we begin our preparations for the 2023 event, you will be contacted regarding your application status and be provided with the address to send your registration fee. NOTE: The deadline for payment of all fees is Sept 1, 2023 regardless of when you submit your online registration. You are not "registered" until we 1) have pictures/descriptions of your merchandise, 2) we have your completed online registration, and 3) have received your payment.
